March 2016 Newsletter

10/03/2016

A happy belated new year from all of us at the Fellowship - we hope you and your families had a happy and restful holiday season. The fellows celebrated with their annual holiday potluck dinner, which was a great chance for new and old fellows to spend some time together, celebrate accomplishments, and talk about the year ahead.

It's shaping up to be a busy year already. In addition to weekly private music lessons and monthly group meetings with their advisor Alison, the fellows will attend Master Classes with college professors, numerous performances in NJ and NYC, and participate in community service work around the area.

We're excited for the year ahead, but just like (insert your favorite presidential candidate), we need your help to make it happen. Our initial fundraising goal for 2016 is $2,000, which will help fund this year's activities for our new incoming Freshman Fellow. We're already off to a good start thanks to all of you who support the program through one-time or recurring donations - but we still have a ways to go.

We know Connor's friendships extended far and wide, so we hope you can help us spread the word and pass this along to any friends or family that might be interested. They can join our mailing list on our website or simply click here.

In our next email update: the fellows learn the "Alexander Technique" from a Montclair State University professor. If you're like us and don't know what “Alexander Technique” is, stay tuned...

Sincerely,
The Connor Donohue Fellowship Executive Committee
