February 2017 Newsletter

23/02/2017

We all know that Connor was generous with his time and his talents and the Fellows are continuing that legacy each and every day. Most recently, they visited the Lillian Booth Actor's Home - an assisted living residence for entertainers and musicians - and played for the residents there, including a set of Beatles tunes performed by one of our Fellows and his band. The day was a valuable experience for the Fellows and lots of fun for the residents, so we're hoping to go back soon.

We're always proud of the Fellows, but especially so when they are recognized for their great accomplishments. In addition to providing weekly private music lessons and frequent access to professional performances, the Fellowship covers application and audition fees for county, region, and state-level bands. Being admitted to these groups is a great honor and takes a lot of hard work, so we were excited to have multiple Fellows admitted to these prestigious bands this year. The group was all in attendance to show their support as our senior Fellow performed with the NJ All-State Jazz band.

We're excited about 2017 and the opportunities that we have lined up for this year. As always, it is your contributions that make it happen! Thanks for your continued support.
