Introducing the Donohue Fellowship Newsletter

5/21/15

We're excited to introduce the first Donohue Fellowship newsletter – our chance to share updates, accomplishments, and information about upcoming events with Connor's closest friends and family.

The Fellowship is in its 4th year and we've never had a tighter knit, more committed group of Fellows. We’re constantly amazed by their passion for music, personal improvement, and service, as demonstrated by some of the activities they've been involved with recently:

  • Organized a food drive to support local families and a holiday toy drive to benefit children at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood
  • Performed for patients at Valley Hospital, with musical arrangements by an alumnus of the Fellowship
  • Regular meetings and Master Classes with the Fellowship Director, Alison Crossley, a professional flutist and RHS alumna

Coming up: The Fellows will host an end of year recital at Ridgewood High School on June 25th at 7pm. The event is free and all are welcome and encouraged to come out and support the Fellows.

Finally, it's hard for us to believe that it's been 5 years since Connor's passing, so we’d be remiss if we didn't pause with you, his closest family and friends, to take stock of the tremendous good that Connor left behind. We see people continuing his work every day, committed to making this world a better place for all of us to live. It's a true testament to who he was and how he inspired us all to make a difference, so for that, we thank you, and we thank Connor.

Support the Fellowship

It’s through your continued support that the Fellowship can carry on Connor's legacy. We recently updated our website, providing more ways to support the Fellowship, either on an ongoing or one-time basis. You'll notice ongoing donations are offered in multiples of 6, Connor's lucky number, giving us each just one more, small reminder of our dear friend.
